I've been speaking to them about the new can designed motors.

These will be available some time in 2011. These new designs are for the 540 versions at this point. But that may change.

And they are open to putting screws in to hold the endbells.

I wonder how many Fine's bought of those Gold Leopards.

          He is sluethy, isn't he?

If he can get them, so can other people.

I like the Big leopard better than the Feigao's, unless feigao went with 4 poles, carbon wrapped rotor with latest sintered Neo mags, otherwise it's not very impressive IMO.

I think those "Gold" motors are just 5692's unless fine design had special 5696 motors made up that are an extra 500 watts? It doesn't seem likely but, they have in the past had their own animals made in the Brushed motor market, IE, the SS1 motor.

I don't like getting the shaft, let alone a bigger one.

Feigao motors should not be sintered neo mags, four pole, cause then they will face the rejection of the given price tag... the factory will not eat the cost, they will pass it to us. Feigao motors are great, well, successful cause they have a good cost/benefit, not because they are awesome motors.
We'll take whatever improvements they can give us WITHOUT changing the price tag... unless they become the new NEU motors in which case, they can raise the prices a little
