I'm going to buy a HV esc and would like some recommendations.

    What should i buy?
I need something bullet proof and able to handle 4 to 8s and lots of amps.
Just sick of these things going bad and want something reliable.
Looking to spend $250'ish and with a warranty.

    cheers

If your looking for warranty eighter the swordfish 240 from Steven or castle creations ice. It's not a marine app but definatly have a lot of goodies built into it.

You need a pistix although some people didn't. I water cooled one 100. The rest including my 200 are not. Just taken out programmer and ran. I don't have the HV version. But the regular ones go to 8s.

The Swordfish looks good to me as it looks easier to program.
          Plus its HV.
That Ice does look nice though.

          Thanks again.

I know castle offers a field box too but using a pc and the castle link it becomes fully adjustable. The added data logger is a big plus too.

One things for sure, getting OSE customer service is top notch.

go the swordfish the 240 HV it can handle 10,000 watts of power , i run a few on my hot 4s & 6s set ups & it always comes home nice & cool , the Fets are twice the the size of the ones Castle use ! IMO its the best bang for your buck !!

I guess I'm not going to be too helpful. Last season I blew two CC's (120 and 240), three ETTI's, and a Swordfish 240. CC's are gettting repaired, Etti's are getting repaired, and the SF is getting repaired. Currently I have two CC 120's and one CC 240. All are HV. Running 8s and a scorpion 4035-800.

Try a Turnigy Monster 2000 with a Pistiix for high voltage setups.
