TX questions

Just started changing my boats over to Futaba Faast. 3PK with the R603FS receivers.

So far all of the steering servos that are "not" digital buzz loudly. My boats with digital servos are fine. What is the deal here?

Also having a very difficult time getting my esc's to arm on full throttle. YGE 120's and 200's. Got a YGE 200 to arm by moving the TX EPA (end point adjustment) (ATV on older radio's) to 120%. On a YGE 120 I got it to arm with just leaving the EPA at 100% normal setting. Now my third YGE 120 won't arm with any setting.

I remember when getting the Supervee esc to arm we had to do some TX adjustment. Can't quite remeber what it was. Any help? What TX setting are supposed to be adjusted for these esc's to arm?

I put a Futaba 2.4 FAAST in my sons SV and am also having a hard time getting it to arm. If you remember what you did to it let me know. All my other boats have Futaba 2.4s in them, if I remember correct on some of the boats I had to reverse the throttle channel to get the ESCs to work.

EPA settings Doug. As Marko said, may have to reverse the setting on the speedo too.

Reference Servos: One thing to check. Make sure you're not in HRS mode. That mode is only for digital servo's and from what I read will fry a analog servo.

Figured out my biggest issue was servo reversing. Then had to do some throttle subtrim. EPA had some impact also.

A few days ago all of my analog servos would just buzz. Today I had a friend over and we rechecked these. Today they do not buzz and work fine. What the hey?

Will double check on the HRS mode thing. Thanks for this pointer.

Finally figured how to get the SV27 ESC to arm with the Futaba r603ff or r603fs RXs and a 3PM 2.4 RX. Anybody needs help or the settings let me know.
