I've also thought about doing a similar theme to my UL-1 and insted of black paint under the Cat decals I would use Carbon Fiber some how?

I really like the older Llumar scheme with the white at the back, like my little BBY hydro pic below. I thikn it would suit your boat really well. Real cars and bikes are good insiration, I've done a Rossi inspired Yamaha Oval Master, then repainted it up as Stoner Ducati. My current DF33 is a Kawasaki theme.

Ebay is a great place for vinyl decals. Have a search and see what you come up with
