Balance ppoint on a DF26

27-30% good starting range for a mono. Then move batts around until you get the ride you want. I start with everything neutral and only make one adjustment at a time until it runs right. Try to get it running as well as you can by adjusting the strut/stinger, rudder angle and cg, I try to use trim tabs as a fine tuning aid and not a solution to bigger problems.
SOme guys start without trim tabs on the boat and only add them if the need them.
