df29 advice

I just got a df29 and have run 4s in it with a 9xl and t180 esc on a x445 prop and to be honest my sv27 seems faster with the ul-1 gear in it? the df handles better although.I am wondering if I should just move up to a 5s or 6s setup in the df29 and should I choose 2 packs or just one to get the job done 5s would be different weights on the sides as well which is a balance issue I see? any ideas or shall I just grab 2 3s 5000mah packs and call it a day?

Wouldn't worry too much about the weight difference. I run one 4s pack on the port side of mine and it seems to balance fine. I like the X642 on my 9xl - try it out.

go a bigger prop like a m447, i raced with a 45mm prop in my df29 on an 8xl 4s and its quick.

An M545 worked well on a 9Xl for me. But it's all trial & error.
