MHZ is German.
The hulls are made by people in what we call "the Eastblock" ,
Poor countries in Europe, where the workers earn little money.Comment

From what I've heard, they both are great.
My personal taste is hpr, because of the laminating quality of Hanspeter.Comment

Yes Hanspeters webb site show some amazing boats.
Its a shame that Eastblock countries make excellent products with very little return for the workers.Comment

MHZ hulls are very high quality, if you order a Mystic C5000 it' s possible to choose fiberglass or carbon kevlar (+ 140€ )Comment

Carbone kevlar is very solid and remains flexible, carbone alone breaks. This is the best material for a boat hull.
Consider fiberglass too, it' s not necessary to reinforce a MHZ hull, better quality than Hydro Marine

Based on my online research I'm going with an MHZ Mystic C5000 (84cm) for my next build. Their running gear looks top notch and very scale.Comment
