You can use Excel and create your own chart. It's a quick calculation; Here's a .doc, because I wasn't allowed to attach an .xls.

        Cool stuff.

Now integrate what sizes should be used with what voltage and physical motor size.

xls has the ability to have executables in it. So its a no, no for user up-loadable data. But if you send it to me I can host it.

For mono hulls or for cats?
RPM for a mono hull = apprx. 30000RPM
RPM for a cat hull = apprx. 35000RPM

              Ah! Dayum viruses.
I'll make up a spread sheet with a few common calculations and send it your way.

We should conglomerate and improve on FE Calc. I guess it would start with determining a structure and what factors and formulas to calculate.

here's a test. Download the file (save link as) and then change the file extension to .xls (remove .doc)

Sorry for my lame computer skills, but is this a way to get a working version of your "calculator box" ? If so, could you expound, step by step, how I can get one up on my cormputer ?

                          Thanx,

                          Tony

Fighter- the motor kv chart would be sweeeet if we could pick beginning & ending kv, kv increment, and # of cells in a data area, then let the chart populate. This would allow maximum flexibility for all cell count applications even the 12s+.

I really like the chart approach to see the multiple kv and rpm's together.

Tony, just right click on the file, select "Save Target As" then at the top drop down box "Save in" select say "desktop". It will download. then go to your desktop and find the downloaded file. Right click and select "rename", Then backspace over the ".doc". This will change it to an *.xls file that you can open with excel.
