    Jae 21 fe

    Hey guys,
Well the boating here in ontario is over for me... It will be a long winter.
I was wondering if anybody out their has a cool paint scheam on their JAE, and wants to show it off a little. Im just looking for some insperation, and something to do over the winter. Plus it would be cool to see.

    Steve.

Not quite over, no ice yet! Hoping to get out 1 or 2 more times before the end. Still haven't seen a flurry yet.
We better get a pile of snow this winter, last winter was a bust!
I don't bother with nice paint jobs. A- I can't draw or paint! B- I own 2 siberian huskies, paint jobs always end up looking like a smaller husky. C- I seem to hit things regularly and a simple paint job is easier for me to fix.
Some people have amazing painting skills, love looking at some peoples boats.
I should switch to all green paint, anybody asks I can say my boat is green with envy over you nice paint job.
Be nice to see what you come up with.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

Here's mine in the traditional Lotus colours of metallic British Racing Green base with yellow sponsons, ski(now removed) and stripe with white trim lines.

This is not mine its from a thread on rumrunner but I think it's the best looking one I have seen, love that canopy but postage to e in England is prohibitive for such a cheap part.

            Those are both nice.
The nose on the last pic looks tapered...think its just the photo, but i like it.
            Thanks.

This is the same boat as the last picture, in the wood as it were before painting, I think its an optical illusin crated by the pointed orange painted sections that make it look tapered.

I wonder how a CC1512 2650kv on 4s would run in one of these?

Very well I should imagine, if I had the cash I would have picked it up for mine, I suspect that it may need a small bubble in the hatch though, an XL fits bout only just this is bigger diameter but shorter so it may or may not fit if you find out let me know because its cheaper and a lot more available than the 1412/1y (will fit for sure) that I have been thinking of getting during the winter break.

Probably get lynched for this, here is my .12 nitro done in Bahama Blue and Toyata Garnet.
Just getting into the electrics been doing nitro for over 20 years.
Have a 29" mono I'm almost finished and planning a 1/10 scale hydro as well over the winter.
The second picture is how it went home that day, hit a buoy at close to 50mph!
Sheared off 2 1/4" carbon tubes, a skuff on the paint on one sponson tip. No other damage.
This is turning into a real Canadian thread!
                      Hello all!

Really like the yellow. orange and white! The black lettering adds the right counterpoint.
