    Ive seen the light!

First try with lipo on sundays club fun run, man I am impressed. Much faster than last years lsh on 1p than 12 good 4200s, and with a much smaller prop, a 215 lol. Almost half the mah usage for 8 laps on a 1/8th. 1250 mah used compared to 2500-2600 with 12. pack came out luke warm if that, motor temp 90 ish!! Man I am sold!! Heres a pic of my new boat.

She's a new boat to me, its Dan "The Man" Chase's Aussie cabover. This boat makes my beloved Taifuin look pitifull. 45mph, 700 MB, with a 215 prop, 1p 3300 polyquest on the first runs. I cant wait to prop up

You ran a mile on 1,250mah? wow, nice setup you got there. How long did it take you to run those 8 laps? What is the pack voltage 3S or 4S?

                    thanks,
                    Steve

Nevermind, I see it's a 4S pack. Sure, the higher voltage is good for less amp draw and it's lighter. But that's still amazing performance!!! Nice job!

I am very excited at this point, we didnt time anything. It was just a shakedown mile with Hydronut. His 5000 1p pack took less mah to recharge than mine lol. Me thinks it would be real fun to extend the 700/aq races out to a 1 1/2 or a 2 miles. It appears even the lower mah lipos can do this easily.

Wow, you could run this hull on 3, A123 cell as well. It would have slightly lower voltage though and use a bit more mah.
