    Neu motor diameter

    Hi,
I'm having a hard time finding diameter specs for the neu motors. Which neu would be closest in size to a fiegao 380XL (28mm diameter)?

A Neu 1115 series would be close to the same size
the case diameter is 1.14" or close to 29mm

Castle Creations lists neu motor sizes and has good technical drawings
    Castle 1115
    Team Boca Bearings

Not quite yet-- hopefully the fiegao will hold out...

But, been thinking about building another one with this hull (you copied me on this one)

I have that one in yellow fiberglass. It runs great in my pool. (haven't had it in open water yet) Doesn't self right though. Maybe you have to wait a while. I gave it 5 minutes.

              Hi,
No prob. But from the pics on your thread, I'm not surprised it won't roll over-- you'll need to keep both batteries on the left side or you'd have to add a ton of weight in the flood chamber. Also note that you don't actually need to get it to turn all the way over-- just enough so that when you hit the gas the lift from the bottom side of the boat will push it over under power (that's what happens on my tenshock mono1).

Did your boat come yellow or did you paint it?

Cool. I didn't know to keep it weighted off side. That would have helped quite a bit in original setup. =)

                Yes, this one came yellow.
