Just thought I would say that. Buying these at $100-$200 a pop is getting old.
I had a solder joint came loose on my Turnigy 180a while running and hooked it up today and no throttle. I've definitely gotten better at soldering since I did that connection, but not sure why it's not working since it never got under water - must have killed it due to the connection not being solid.
I've read that motors and ESC's will quit together many times. I feel like I'm being careful, just seems like they are too delicate to me. My motor is fine in this situation - I'm running a Neu 1515 1.5y and 6S.
Maybe I should bust out the $250 for a Castle ESC, but I can't see spending anymore than $120.
I just ordered a Seaking 180a from OSE. oh well....
