carbon treating hull?

how much of the bottom of a 29" hull should i be laying cf to...can I just go maybe 16" from the transom or do I need to go further into the hull for better results?? Im a cf newb in the boat area lol.

It's best to go as far forward as you can get it, but you have to get it at least as far as the motor mount for it to have any value.
