    porpoise in sv

I have 2 sv27s one is stock and running nimh 5000mah with a 45 mm prop the trim tabs are 0 the turn fin is verticle the strut is at 0. the rudder is tucked in at bottom and this boat wants to porpoise badly?? Now my other sv is equiped with a ul1 mtr and ese 48 mm prop and it is quick but the nice thing is it planes out flat. It is set up otherwise no different than the stock boat!!
how do I eliminate the porpoise from the stock boat?

give each tab a good push down about 3 degrees This will put the front of the boat down closer to the water and get rid of the purposing. If it does not work try pushing them down farther. If it still behaves badly check your strut angle.

also you may first want to try placing your batteries farther forward.

If you are certain that all of the hardware is exactly set the same then the problem might be that the 45mm prop is adding lift. You could try moving the stinger prop end down just a tad. Not much. Try adjusting in small increments.
