The support at Register.com SUCKS. They escalated my problem to their "Tech department" on Saturday morning. I was told it would be a few hours. Then called back around 1pm and they said, another few hours. I called that night and they said the "Tech Support" department inst open on the weekend!!!!!!!

I would calculate the amount of orders/money you lost and use it as a bitching point Monday when you call to get some hosting time or more bandwidth free....To get slow support is one thing, to get out of office reply is bad biz

Welcome to the world of Information Technology. I had a vendor doing work on my Trucking/Financial system for our company. He managed to single handedly bring the entire system down for 6 hours. This is for a 100 million dollar company with operations on the both the east and west coasts. It happens. Sorry for your downtime.
