I have seen and raced against Teach's FE 30 run using the Spec power system and the Prather 230 its fast, very fast!

I run the Phil Thomas Super Sport 21, with spec power its a great boat just need more tuning time on it.

Sean, was that the Red one at the FE Nationals?
I remember seeing one that was a bullet!

Well I think Dave Newland's boat was the bullet at the FE Nationals, but Teach's boat is also red and now a very fast bullet!

I've decided on the Insane FE 30 ... thanks for all the great input ... tough choice between the FE30 and the PT SS21. Is there a suggested setup sheet for the Insane FE30; ie. specs on exactly where to position the major components (motor, servo, battaries, ESC) to obtain optimal balance and speed? Or if not, can any of you guys who have been running the Insain FE 30 make recommendations on the placements of the components? As always, all input is greatly appreciated.

                  I love this place!
Tony is there anyone who would sell these as a ARTR without electronics?

Colby, Give Jeff a call - 310-351-0744. He can discuss with you having the boat supplied with running gear - stuffing tube, strut/rudder & such. That's the hardest part. Motor mount, servo mount & ready to rock.

Nah mine sucked at the nats. Orange thing stuck in turn 4 cause I lost radio reception. The rest of the heats I just puttered around. Had about 2 packs through the boat. Cooked a BJ motor. Just not enough tuning time. Still haven't had a real good tuning day on it.

A weird thing about it. The bigger diameter prop I throw at it, the cooler it runs. I do draw about 2800 mah out of the packs now but motor, speedo, and batteries have a hard time heating up. I started with a plane jane 442, went to a prather 220, tried the 225, last one was the 230. Each prop dropped temps. Wish I had a 235 and a 240 now. Damn race seaon is over for us though.

                              Thanks Tony,

I should have looked at his website first. I found it there after, posting here.
