    Prop nut

I was wondering if anyone has used the bullet style prop nuts and which ones I would need to buy. I have tried a few and they are the wrong threads.

Good question. It's almost like the toysport nuts are metric or something. The 3/16th bullit wont fit

I use a piece of fuel tubing when I can't get a nut (lol)
I always doubt it's security, but it has never cost me a prop. Bullet nuts, and standard nuts HAVE cost me props before though!

I agree with you, I used fuel tubing on my race boats almost all season and never lost a prop, but lost a bunch of props using the bullet nuts.

            prop nuts

Have you tried using the bullet nut as a back nut? I set it up so that the standard nut actually holds the prop, and the bullet nut is just to dress up the end. This seems to work well for me and I have never even had one loosen up.
            Just a thought.
