flex shaft replacement question.

is it possible to remove the flex from the hard shaft?
If so how do you do it?

Quick and easy,,,,propane torch set on lowest setting. Heat prop shaft end until solder melts and remove flex cable. BG

I use 60 /40 solder from Radio Shack, It works for me and can withstand a little heat. BG
