Scott the mounts that the nitro engine bolts on to in the boat do not come out.They look like they are glued in Can you help me out.Comment

Mark, your motor should fit betwwen the mounts possibly, mine did on my Elam..........i just drilled holes in the base of the brackets to allow epoxy flow thru them........roughed up the glass a bit and used 5 min epoxy.NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? They are epoxied in place. However you can add heat to the epoxy and soften it, while gently pulling on the motor mount sides back and forth until they come free. I use a mini torch, but a hair dryer might produce enough heat if you hold it closely long enough.The proboat epoxy is generally kinda weak, so it should break free fairly easily. Just be cautious because if you force it too much it can damage the hull. Let the heat do most of the work.Comment
