I know some people like to use the leopard 2000kv or the 2200kv series 4074 if you are gonna be running 4s.if its a neu you really want how many cells u runnin? and only cause they are blowing them out right.......

ye i wan to get a castle whilst there cheap i will run between 4 - 6s lipo

stay away from the 2200kv if you want 6s ever,not good

just look at the ose site they recommend the 1717 for 4-6s right in the description the other two are better suited for 4 s bud.

Im not fussed on volts at all i just want a fast reliable sport boat.

I have seen people smoke 2200kv motors on 6s... however I run 6s in a savage flux on a 22ookv motor,but different load applications.If I cant get a castle motor before they are out of stock then I will grab a leopard 2200kv as 6s in that boat is a handful I have seen unless you want a semi unstable rocket.I am gonna run 4s and maybe grab a lower kv if I ever wanna run 6s.depends on what u want, speed or reliability,I always have overkill everything just to be on the safe side but rarely use all its power and it keeps temps down as well.I will add as well that you may need to go over the guts of that boat and reinforce all the wood and mounts etc. do a search on it.
