No need to apologise John. I should have added a couple of smilies on the first couple of lines as it was a bit of tongue in cheek on my part. I wasn't having a go at you.

I might have to find some of the thermal epoxy & try that as it seems to work as a gap filler where the grease will not. That will save me sanding the fets on the next one. If I ever need to buy another one that is.
I too only rate them as a 150A -170A ESC & 6s Max . So I'm not taxing them to their (supposed) limit. My maximum set up is 130A in one of my boats, & that gets me over 50mph which is fast enough for our little lake. The rest are a bit below that.
