    Jolly Cat Dialed in

I had a great day on the water today. It would seem the handeling issues I had with the last setup are gone. I can't blame them on the setup fully. I learned how to drive a cat today. All I had to do was take off the skirt and hold the power down in the turns. The Videos are large and will be comming with in the hour.

Video 1: Shake down and temp check.
    PQX S4-2P @ 6600Mah 9XL, K40 prop, Hex 120 37mph Temps all under 100 @ 30 seconds.

    Jolly Shake down

    Same setup 40.1mph ESC 122 Packs 107,104 Motor 120.
Sorry for the chatter I will start editing it out. I got braver this run. Most of the turns are 3/4 to full throttle. The boat dives EXCELLENT. It's very hard to get it out of shape.
    Jolly S4-2P K40

This run was on the S2-1p PQX packs @ 3700mah x2. Temps Packs 144,147 Motor 111 ESC 113 38.2 Mph. I held it wide open 99% of the time.

    PQX S2-1P x2

      re :

Sweeeet !!! Nothin' like a big cat trimmed out ! I 'm with you on the throttle down turns ; my cat will actually corner at 3/4 throttle pretty good ; slow 'er down & plop ! [ Does require some faith, I'm still nervous while doing so]. BTW the Titan /
9XL really likes an X442 ; motor unwinds perfectly & hauls.

Thanks Props:). That K40 prop is what I always start with. I am going to pick up an x438 and see if I can unload the motor some more. I am quite happy with 40mph. Much more and I don't think she will be as fun. Can't wait for next Sunday .

Little bit of an update here. I recharged the s2-1p 3700s. They both took 2900mah. Thats with almost a 4 minute run. If it wherent for them almost hittin 150 I'd run them again. But I think series for them 25c packs is just pushing it. I don't want to risk a melt down.

Agreed. I like running big capacity, 4S high C [30/60] packs in parallel ; gives a margin for error. I've done some really dumb mistakes with mine [ don't ask, really] & so far only puffed one. Pricy, worth it, but tap out the treasury pretty quick
