Teflon or no?

    I always sand any cables I use....take the bumps off of it. I then have even polished them. I think it help when using teflon. Cables are pretty rough. I do the same on my wiredrives and the are like super smooth and after polishing they do not rust.

        though i have yet to run it i am using a .187 in a 7/32 tube with a 16" cable i find it to be pretty smooth, i do like the guy using the 9/32 tube would be a little less resistive but i dont think it would work for me my 7/32 needs to slide into a 1/4 at the strut

          I have run them both ways. A 3/16" cable in a 1/4" tube no liner and .150 cable in 1/4" tube with liner. Both work well. I think it's more important to have a good smooth bend in any stuffing tube. Having it properly aligned is also a big plus.
