I would be interested in the X437 for starters. Possibly the 42 and 45 depending on price. Im guessing the 45 is probably to big.

PM some prices and we can go from there.

      Ok guys,

I ended up picking up the X437 & some Graupner K42's from JMS.

Finally got my drive line issues squared away.

      KD36-60 3000KV
      2.2 FLightmax batts in parallel
      120A Turborix ESC.

Run time wasnt long due to safety issues. I figured I thermal'ed when it sputtered a few times. I then tried to run a little more until I let off the trigger and boat kept going for 20 yards... That was end of run I brought her in.

First part of the run was the X437. Second part the K42. The K42 was WAY faster right out of the gate. The X437 wasnt horrible but just seemed slower than normal.

I will let the eagle tree do the rest of the talking now.

I figured I would get a WTH with the amp draw...

Motor is only rated 78A max...???

Is my prop to big now?

I think I had a small drive line issue. I needed a tad more of a gap on the thrust washer for when the wire twists some.

Next I would worry about your batteries. 2200mah batts are pretty underpowered for that setup even if they were 40c rated. I'm assuming the sputtering was because your batteries can't supply that much juice. Just an idea, could be totally wrong.

Ok nevermind I didn't see you were running them parallel. Still look at their output tho.

Interesting- I figured the sputter issue was due to the ESC. I didnt even think batts.

When I brought it in the batts were cool.

I dont think I was getting water thru my cooling system though... I dont recall seeing it and I dont see it in the vids. Ouch...
