Very good idea. I'm considering making a new category to add this and info like post pictures and stuff. A place where people cant ask questions, just go to learn and surf for info.

look at that I learned a few, though if you're going to have ECM up there how about EMP, SAM, and ........AARP

We might need those, EMP's would be very dangerous to our boats, SAM's could hit me when I jump my boat off a dock and we all know AARP is evil. :)

Aft isnt an acronym(adverb), but you could add more terms for new boats. port, starboard, bow, motor component terms, jet drive terms like impeller, nozzle, stator.....

              wtf

I just got up I'll think about this some more.

Hey how about the class specs also that are used. P mono what does that mean. If someone could give some detail on classes maybe we could all start shooting to build FOR them if wanted. so far I have just been building for my class (THE LOWER CLASS)

You have a point. Why not just say 4S. Voltage defines the classes anyway.

If you go to the NAMBA site, click on Resources, click on Rulebook, scroll to Sec 28, pages 5-18 you'll see the electric class specs for hulls [ e.g. "mono" ] and power [e.g. "P"]. I decided some time ago to build my boats to conform to the class rules, so that if I wanted to race, my fleet would fit into an existing class, even 'tho I'm mostly a pond basher/fun runner. Once the racing bug bites, you may find that building your fun runner to fit a class will let you jump in & race when the opportunity presents itself.

Heck yeah!! I fun run and race my boats! I might prop up or gear up a little more for racing than I do bashing but there is no reason most oval setups can't be fun run IMO. As long as you have lipo cut off

if 'we' are also defining terminology...how about defining 'hooking'(as in its got a bad hook), prop/chine walking(been there done that:)) etc.
