Looking at thes 3 boats, Obviously everone wants to increase their speeds with what ever they have got.With the Genisis & apparition with one motor their probably capable of around high 30s to 40mph in stock form. To upgrade the motor & esc without going to the high expence & a lot of work making them into twins your still going to have to spend some serious money on esc,motor,& higher voltage lipos to get these boats probably up to mid to high 50s mph this is without going to breaking the bank on say $400+ motors. With the Dragon twin which is basically an Apparition hull with twin cheap 380 size motors with only 70amp esc Is capable & has been done on the video section of 55mph in stock form on 4s.And with a slight upgrade on to fairly cheap chinese motors with origanal esc & still only on 4s reached 61mph with very little money being spent, I believe someone else on here acheived 66mph with not spending to much money.Maybe the motors & esc will need replacing more often but their very cheap to relace, How much would you have to spend to get the other 2 boats up to mid 60s mph with single motors.The twin Dragon hull probably runs better as well with counter rotating props as you dont get torque roll like the other 2 will especially with larger upgraded motors & esc. Just a thought on where my money might go next on a cat. Martin
