As i understand the cooler the esc stays the more efficient it is + less risk to blowing, Perhaps theirs a reason that the cooling plates only use 2 water channels and a solid middle to act as a heat sink where its solid. Would extra water channels through the centre section work better than being solid in this area so you have 3 or 4 channels in total in the plate so that they would be looped together still with 1 inlet & 1 outlet. Also on 3 sides of the cooler ( not the face that sits against the esc) it could be heavily finned for heat disipation ( same principle as deep finning on rc car heads for cooling). As most medium to large hulls theirs usually enough room inside to make the fins as large as nessesary. Obviously i will be making this to suit, Any thoughts good or bad. Martin.

Thats what im thinking but with much deeper fins, Possibly around 1/2 inch deep fins, also with a couple of fins on the sides as well. It also cant be a good idea putting the esc + cooling plate inside heat shrink & then sealing the ends with silicon which must help retain an awfull lot of heat. I fully understand why this method is done because its an easy & cheap way to protect against water but their are alternatives which dosnt involve putting this lot in an insulated case for wont of a better discription. Better still a finned water cooler like i discribe made from copper. Martin.Comment
