    DUAL EP-1s

I was wondering how much of a gap i might need to use 2-4 EP-1s? I have the mounting plate measurements on it if any 1 wants them 35mm tall and 45mm wide.

That measurement is the plate only. The outboard is wider than the plate. I will be building a OSE raider with 2 of those at some point.

You can't beat those Team Orion V-2 endbells. RCBoyz on ebay stock the endbell convertion for 05 motors for about 25 a piece. Comes with bearings brushes and 3 sets of diffrent tention springs. Oh and some kewl stickers

Jay, I am setting up a Mean Machine with dual EP1's! I don't have the boat its out at the sign shop for its graphics so I can't measure the width I set the motor mounts apart! It really was a guess ... did a mockup until I found what look right to me!

As for the length of the overall motor its 7 inches and the widest part is where the steering rods hook up and that's a tad over 2 inches!(great measurement term .... a tad)

Take a look at the build thread titled Here Kitty Kitty I have posted a few pictures of the transom with & without the the engines!
