    Shovel nose or V-hull

Which boat is easier to set up and run?? Im trying to decide which boat would be better for me to get back into r/c boats again. Had a tunnel and it kinda put a bad taste in my mouth, cause it flipped alot.It was nitro also.. bran new to FE and really like what i see on this forum.. some cool stuff.

Two very very different hulls. You need to decide what kind of conditions you will be running in and your idea of running a boat. If you like oval and have flat water the hydro would be good. If you like turning both ways and have choppy water the v would be good. Vees are easier to get running than hydros. Shovels are a tad harder to tune than pickle designs.

Monos can have flood chambers installed which will significantly cut down on your retrieve boat time...

I really don't like monos (personal choice).
