    cap board pics.

    Hey Guys,

I finished a couple of cap boards this afternoon. I'm pretty pleased with the results.
I am going to change the design of the PCB to allow for more conductivity as cornelP suggested.
I am going to use one of these with my Turnigy 120, just to see how it gos.
    Here's a couple of pics.
I also forgot to mirror the image before i printed it as you can see.

Can anyone suggest a product to coat this board with?

    Steve.

Turning out nice! Just watch the cold solder points... try using a smaller drill bit, will make the job easier.

Try to avoid sharp right angles on pcb layout as current can pool in corners.... theres more to it... I simplified.

        Use round smooth corners.

I got them at A1 electronics in Mississauga.
Its a really cool store. they have everything electronic, and if they don't, they will get it.

They are 35A 470uF low ESR. You have to take the guy who sells them to you that they are low ESR, as their is no way too tell looking at them. You would need a "cap wizard" ... $$$

I'm changing the design of the board.
I'm only going to etch a path large enough to separate the pos, and neg the rest of the board will be copper.

            Steve.
