Cannot figure out where my boat is taking on water. Drinking like an Irishman. Every run about 4 minutes theres at least 6 ounces of water in the boat. Hatch is sealed tighter than a tick's butt, and the cooling lines arent leaking. Anyone think water is drawing up the drive shaft? What could it be?
HELP... My boat is a lush.

did you try pushing it down with the hatch open and see if it might be coming in at rudder linkage or drive shaft? make sure your cooling lines are good under some pressure as well. are they zip tied? any little cracks from bumping them with a battery?"Look good doin' it"

i had this problem recently and it drove me crazy.
Sealed everything possible inside the hull and it still leaked about half a cup of water after 3 minutes run time.
ran it with the line off the pickup for 1 lap to check if it was the lines and still took on h2o.
I noticed the grease from the tube inside was milky and that's water in the mix.
I put tape around where the tube goes into the strut and hey presto,no more water.
Just need to silicone the strut and tube join.Comment

I once had a problem with my son's fastech taking on water-- turned out it was coming thru the space between the stuffing tube and the hull (so *not* up the greased flexshaft, but around it). I put some silicon sealant around where the stuffing tube entered the boat now it runs bone dry.
