Will it hold up with 5s? (prather 215 prop)
I smoked my 50amp Surge Crusher esc on 5s (I was expecting it would) so I'm looking for a new one, and the turnigy 120 amp is always out of stock.

30" mono, X442, Leopard 4074 on 5S, no problems in two weekends... running 5800mA 30C Turnigy. It is better to disable the BEC (just safety) and lower a lot your LVC settings if your battery is not too good. I know what runtime to expect, so I use 2S LVC .

          Well I received my
          Skywing 200a two days ago.

Yesterday I tested it on the bench with a 6 cell pack
          for rotation direction, it
          seemed fine.

I then put it in my hydro was
          ready to button her up.

          I plugged in the 12 cells I
          had planned to run....

          Snap crackle pop!!
Before I even pulled the trigger.

Cheech and Chong (up in smoke)!

and now I'll get to see how the support team does??

I noticed the same thing with the nipples. How did you "seal it up"? The complete take off the shrink wrap, coat with conformal coating, make sure you had good contact between the cooling plate and FETs and re-wrap or the old silicone up both ends and go method?

                  Sailr,
I had it connected to 12 NiMh cells.
                  (Instructions say 18 NiMh max)

I am getting a run around from Leader Hobbys,
                  who shipped me the item.

They tell me it's Ebay's problem?

                  The Ebay site says
                  7 day money back,
                  buyer pays return shipping.

                  After paying shipping both ways
I'll only be in the red
                  $2.56

(This model did not come with water cooling)

Basically at the prices for these, you have to consider them as disposable items with no support. People have to accept that fact.
