    Detla Copy Rudder Ripped off.

I ruined Stevie's Delta 26 at the nats. It flipped and the stock rudder has so little of surface mounting area it went into the transom somehow. After getting it back in the shop I knew it needed the transom reinforced and a rudder bracket with more mounting surface area. Stevie convinced me to mount the carbon fiber on the outside of the transom. I wasn't to fond of the idea, but went with it. I kind of like it now.

Yeah, not much surface area on that rudder mount.

    Nice boat now.

Steve you might hate this idea but to off balance the carbon/yellow cut there (aka the whole boat being yellow except the transom) you might want to try a wrap around of sorts with the carbon.... wrap around a line of carbon from the back into some detail lines down the sides to the front.

          Thats an interesting idea.
I have to get better with this stuff. Normally i dont worry about looks and just slap on epoxy because its on the inside.

Yeah I was thinking about it today steve, a nice little wrap around detail on the side... just little hairlines even could really set off the boat... make a decent/neat looking deal into a really sweet unique job.
