    Rudder for a DF 33 mono

    I have the above hull and need a dual water pick up rudder and mount.Anyone know what size rudder I need and where to get one?Any help is appreciated.

        Steven has one in stock; 4"extension, Here's mine on my Cyberstorm 32-blade shortened a tad. Use a healthy servo !

          Sweet!Thanks Propperchopper.Much abliged.I hate cooling the motor and esc together.Doing it separate really sets my mind at ease.Ill order one tonight.

            Chopper,where did you get the hatch pins?Mine has a nut glued on the hull and supposodley takes a bolt through the hatch.Wouldnt be pretty with a bolt.

              AQ [EDIT] VS-1 cowl locks. Tower Hobbies ; $ 1.99/2. Cut a grommet in half to make rubber washer-seals.Self-aligning "Captured nuts" -most hardware stores -Trick !!

              Tab on front. Cowl stays in place. Flip at 60+ & hatch gelcoat may take a vacation, 'tho !

                Thanks for your help and pics.Steve is out of the 4"extended rudder.I can wait though.I still have a lot of work to do.

                    Ive been taking my time alright.I bought it used from the swap shop and it was pretty bashed up and wore out.Now Im taking my time refurbishing it.Id like to watch your video,but my computer wont play them with out it being "blochy"I guess.Have to get my ole ladys pc fired up so I can play better.
