    UL-1 or Stiletto?

I currently have a genesis cat and the venom p1 on the way. So having a cat and a vee I eventually want to get a hydro style boat but which one would you guys recommend the ul-1 or stiletto? I'm a bit of a newbie and want something relatively straight forward to run and maintain as a daily runner just for fun.

Stiletto is a tunnel hull (closer to a cat than a hydro)

I would get a Stilleto if Horizon would do a discount deal each month like Tower does!

If your looking for speed, go with the ul-1. If your looking for less speed and a beautifull boat thats challenging to drive, go Stiletto by all means. I own one and I love it- just needs a tad more speed for me.

I love the ul-1 performance but the stiletto is a beautiful boat! The ul-1 is always out of stock though and the price in the UK is the same in £ as $.

I had a UL-1...sold it and bought an Insane Hydro, you have to build it though. I just received my Stiletto, a very neat boat and with a very scale looking outboard and that is why I bought it. Speed has never been my prime reason for the purchase of any of the boats that I own. All RTR boats have issues of some type, hull, esc, motor, radio, stability etc. Therefore you must buy with these issues in mind but I bet that almost all newbies in this hobby started with an RTR boat.

yeah my buddy kevin just got an insane hydro and LOVES it! apparently this thing is in fact INSANELY awesome. i own a ul-1 and love it. yeah there are a few small upgrades ive made but its a great overall RTR. cant say much about the stiletto other than its not as fast or stable as the ul-1 from what ive been hearing, but some of the excitment comes from the skill it takes to drive this boat.
