I have a 34 inch "Victory Hull" Bud Select cat. I keep burning up 150 amp esc's. The Leopard is a 4074 1500 kv and im running 2 11.1v 3s lipos in series. What esc do I need. Boat runs great, pops up on plane, but ran about 4 min and the esc overheated. Also, can anyone tell me the most common area for boat to take on water? I've checked the water cooling for leaks and I seal the hatch completely, but boat takes on a good 6 ounces of water. Could this be my overheat problem - the added weight?

Assuming all the hardware bolts are sealed & not leaking then the most common place for water getting in the boat is up the stuffing tube which should always be greased with water proof grease regularly. Theirs also a very good tip over on the tip & info section titled Seal that stuffing tube with vacuum plug which is a very simple mod. Martin.Comment
