Awesome. Did he say Castle monster 2200 on 6s?

        Ahh 2 minutes too late.

          Thanks for posting it Tony.
I sent them the boat for the video. The rigged it.
I have to talk to Jason about getting the handling right.

Water conditions were too rough for that setup.

              EDIT: removed unnecessary criticism...

I see why you put in the 240HV... "this is too much power" maybe, but mainly for the way it was set up; maybe some trim tabs action?

I'll agree that the setup was a bit "hyper", but the vid was pretty cool, especially the slo-mo. The really nice aspect of it was that Maxamps gave some good exposure, not only to OSE, but to their substantial "electric" customer base which can only give a boost FE boats at large. I like Maxamps a lot; everytime I purchase something from them I get a "thank you" card personally signed by Austin. A class act, for sure.
I just e-mailed Austin complementing him for the vid & the synergy it's bound to create in FE for all of us. Give him a shout : [email protected]

I think the slow mo action was great and the boat looked like fun to drive. The set up was extreme, looks like FUN!

Now that is classy advertising. Bringing all the best together and patting each other on the back will bring customers. Unlike others, I would buy their products no question.

Not sure that is so positive for OSE with MA stuff lately. LOL I think it is great Steven did it.

Hey guys we'd like to thank all of you for the very positive feedback on the boat. And yes 6S on the 2200 with the Octura Prop Steve provided was freaking insane. What's really cool is the motor and controller never got above 100 degrees. When we did the video the real boat traffic was a bit crazy and was making it tough to drive but seeing this was my very first time ever setting up and actually driving an RC boat (been a plane, heli, and car guy since 13 yrs old) I think I did a pretty good job with it. We did have one failure though. We went out on another trip to see if we could get it on radar and the boat to a bad tumble and landed hard on the rudder knocking off the servo mount inside and then it took on enough water that got to the unprotected castle BEC unit. Well it smoked and took out my nice high speed 100.00 plus dollar Hitec steering servo and then actually took out the 240HV esc as well. I got it all fixed with the help of my good friend Joe at Castle and it ready to go again. Steve did shoot me some tips and I think with the few minor adjustments I need to do we should be set. I was out yesterday morning with our SV27 that has a test product inside that I'm working on for the boat market and the water was perfect...........just like glass, which is what we'll need for the big boat to run on the 6S again. I can't wait to see what it tops out at.

Sorry for the long post, Sunday morning caffeine rush. LOL

Thanks again guys and any suggestions and or requests are always welcome.

                            Jason

You would have taken out any servo with a hard hit. I like the Traxxas 2075 as it is strong and waterproof.

I am really surprised those cells at 2200 did that well. Were they in para so you actually had 4400 mah?

How are the new connectors holding up that you all designed for stacking cells?
