I agree, but disagree if that makes sense. Sometimes people do need to learn from their mistakes I agree with that, but when people "learn" with their money sometimes instead of learning about their mistakes they just take it as a lose and move on (i.e drop the hobby) and that's what we don't want. I would hate some new guy with his hard earned money, save up buy something overpriced from them (like when they were selling the leopard 4074 motors for $170 when steve sells them for $90) find out that they been had and get a bad taste in their mouth about the hobby. The business approach they seem to have is hit the customer hard fast for money and if they come back ok if not still ok. Instead of having reasonable price item and making a little profit over a longer time and gaining a valued customer.

Dana you want to support your friends that's cool, I know I talked a lot of $h!t on them myself because I almost bought something way overpriced from them which would have left a bad tasted in my mouth but lucky I asked brushless55 about their products and he showed me the light and saved me a lot of money and keep me interested in the hobby. I don't think he knew he did all that, but it gave me a different and better outlook on this hobby and showed me to do more research about anything I buy.

I just want to be FAMOUS TOO, what is funny they probably cost less than your crap and are competitive boats. I just love the comment from your VALUED customer about being better than a 1521 ??? You must be joking those boats are not even hitting 40 in that vid, just cracked me up big time.
Oh and they are only Stage 1, 4s just imagine at stage 69 on 7s wow
      Very nice sir!

I see Im not the only one that gets a thrill out of running fast in a tight space. That last vid gets me anxious just watching it.

But what do I know.........
I think you and Rummy hit on something there Sean. Since these guys are claiming to be experts and have commited themselves to extensive research on their products I wonder why you dont see speed/ run time claims with one of their setups. Not even a word about prop recommendations from what I have seen on their web site. It certainly would make a knowledgable FE boater take a step back and wonder.

Anyone can install a motor and speedo and make claims to be so much better then a ARTR. But its putting the power to the water that speaks volumes. Minor things like hardware adjustments, getting the center of balance right for the speed you want to run at. Upgrading wire connectors, keeping wires short, wire drives, better servos....... ghawd the list could be 10 miles long. Things like that reach out and grab your attention when your looking to a vendor for advice. Build tips, do's and donts. "Here's what we tried and it worked or didnt".

I digress. Back to the point I was trying to make,.................prop selection. Most of us know right away when we hear of a certain prop on a certain hull with a certain power system. Will it work. If its reasonable we listen, we offer advice, we might even learn. If you've been doing this for a number of years the ridiculous stands out right away. "Highly dangerous with a chance of fire later".

To be in the business they want to be in G-Freak had better start getting aboard with propulsion or gaining some knowledge about props and learning some basic math skills to determine power out puts. Since I only discovered them recently, from the posts here, I'm curious to see how they grow. But as its been already stated, they need to run their stuff at an event if they want credibility. Putting their money where their mouth is will convince their customer base.

I agree with Steve about their pricing. If they can get away with charging $180 for a $85 speedo. More power to them. $120 for a $66 motor? Yeah go for it. Its not my place to tell them their what their profit margin should be. I'm sure that web site isnt free every month. I would like to see them mature and grow. They might be the next folks who come up with some great new idea that makes FE better. Stranger things have happened.

He does all of his boat setups by means of the FE calc. I chatted him up a bit on his site yesterday. It started off a bit heated. I tried to give him a few tips, like a nice guy but he didn't want to hear it. He IS on OSE. I told him that he should out himself and attempt to learn from the collective group here. I also told him that most of this bashing was due to his poor marketing. He says he doesn't have time to make friends right now. Which is B.S. since he is trolling the forum all the time. Even after I told him that it may be good for business to try to get some of us on his side and to learn a little more about FE. Nope. No time for that. Oh well. I tried.

Nice effort Rum. It would really help his buisness to get some of us guys especially you racers on board with them. I am sure most people here are willing to squash the beef if they are.
