    NEU Motor 1512 Series

    Hi,

    Who use NEU 1512 motors, which model/winding, how many cells and what' s your boat?

      I have a Neu 1512/1.5D in my SV27. Awesome on 3S but way too much power for that hull. Still it is a lot of fun and spectators on shore cannot believe how fast the boat accelerates. I always get comments and the occasional "holy cow" when the hull departs. I've learned to stay within 20 yards of the shore when running wide open.

              I ran a 1512/2D in my Titan 40 on a gear box. Well into the 50s on 4S with low heat.

                  I run my H&M Viper (24.5" hydro) on a 1512/2D On 4S. She ran 58.2 MPH while blowing a Turnigy 120A. The Turnigy 180 holds up much better.

                      Speed 64.5 mph.

                      Hydra 120 esc's.

                              I have a 1d to use in a 27" o/b tunnel to try and set the IMPBA N SAW record in November. Shooting for 65mph.

                              I have a 1.5Y I just aquired. Not sure what I will use it for honestly!
