    stringers or no stringers ??

just ordered the CF to lay up in the new df29... originally i was thinking without stringers... now i m not sure... i like the idea of having the batterys side by side between stringers rather than towards the sides of the hull... plus, if i went with stringers i d be able to pick up one of peter z's awesome mounts :) ...

any suggestions, what would you recommend and why ??? i m guessing battery placement may or may not be a huge difference... dunno...

    stoked to hear your opinions..

My DF 29 came with stringers. I run 8xl on 2 x 2s and m445 prop. I tried the batteries inside the stringers and the boat runs great up to 35 mph and then the chine walk starts. I put the batteries outside and more forward (the motor is not in the way) and the chine walk dissappears and the boat runs stable to the high forties. COG is about 30%. The stringers afford a place to fasten things and keep the interior organised. Good luck BG
