    43-44 mpg Tops

Ran my 33" Mono (DF Clone) all weekend. setup 13 XL Feigao, X645 and X445. 1P6S (2) 3 cell in series. Venom 5000 35C and Protek 4200 45C. Adjusted prop angle. (Fullers Mono Hardware) running solid 43and 44 mph also running etti 150 with cap bank. Was hoping for a little more but guess with this setup thats about it. What do you think?. Video Attached

venom lipos have been sort of notorious for not putting out the advertised discharge rates..i do not know about the protek ones..this may be costing a few mph..i would think that setup should at least be in the high forties though..

Are you running two different brands of lipo in series?

I have 2 sets 1 set of Venom 5000 35 C and 1 set of Protek 4200 45C I'm not mixing. I'm either running the Venoms or the Proteks

The Proteks seem to have more punch but speeds are staying pretty much the same with either set

Looks to be running smooth maybe a little on the wet side...did you try adjusting your prop thrust angle a little more until it was running loose? I know i can get my monos dialed after raising the angle too high and then lowering down from that point..even if it gets loose then you can play with the position of your batteries and move them forward to keep the nose down....maybe get you a couple more mph..

Yea I adjusted untill it was pretty loose. May have gained a little more speed but not worth the handling.

It all depends on what you're willing to pay for the extra speed. A Castle/Neu 1520 will have you flying with that hull.

SPEED COSTS A LOT ESPECIALLY IN BOATS..YOUR SPEED IS RESPECTABLE WITH THAT SETUP THOUGH.THE HANDLING IS GREAT

you should se a few more mph with the X645 prop over the X445 but it wil use more amps
