    Wire Drive & Custom Couplers

Is there anyone else that makes these or just Jeff Wohlt?

Your order will be going out Monday but maybe others make them...Nobody makes 4mm for the EKOS as far as I know. Your invoice will come to you in the next day. The other stub is fixed that you sent me.

      Thanks Jeff!

But I am still curious to the question if anyone else is making them?

I also read some place that people are using loctite instead of solder? How is that working out for people?

All my wire drives are using loctite. Some use some other number but I found what I like. There is also a key to bore size and gap for the wire. Too small and it just scrapes the loctite off so the bond is not as good.

Now that we got Octura to make most wire sizes for 5mm shafts you have choices. I like set screw versions but you have to make sure they are done right when locking them on to the wire. Flat spot is critical. The Octura versions do not need this and seem to hold well.

if you know you od's and id's my brother in law can design you anything you want @ 3dmajic lynchburg virginia. The set screw type are pretty simple but i prefer the screwclamp stlye they hold better. If the setscrews strip they can be a pain.
