When you de-tongue an Octura prop, say an x445, does it increase lift, decrease lift, or not change the lift? For example, is the m series prop higher or lower lift than the equivalent x series prop?

And what is the difference in lift (if any) between the Octura X4, X5 and X6 series props?

Removing the tounge from a prop does not change lift. Removing end/tip material from the back of the prop can increase lift. Edge Rolling or cupping can decrease lift. All the X series props have low lift.
