Hyperion EOS606i internals question

Hi

Have a Hyperion charger here that a friend has shorted the output leads together

fried one chip identified on board as FET3.
smoked beyond recognition.
Anyone able to identify it from a good circuit ?

Dr Wayne, This has nothing to do with the question you have about the charger. In your signature you have some controller specs that interest me. What brand do you use. I am guessing that the first digit is the number of cells (voltage)/second group of numbers is current (amps). If you would please PM me some of the details of the controllers.

BTW: There is someone on RC Groups Forum username: NipponDave. I believe he is a tech for Hyperion??? Seems to know lots of details on Hyperion products. Hope this helps.
