Drive shaft maintenance

Hello, I'm a little embarrassed to say i hugged my boat today. Anyway, my boat's drive shaft looks like a cable through a brass tube should i disassemble and pack it with grease? thanks, [email protected]

I have never hugged a boat tho my wife thinks otherwise...

Anyway you should pull out the flex cable after you are done running for the day. Wipe off the old grease and let any water dry. put a light coat of grease on it and reinstall.
