help, prop shaft and flex cable

I blew the prop out of my DF Vortex last week and I have both the flex cable (.150) and appropriate prop shaft for it but I'm wondering how to put it together.

I was thinking of soldering them together but I didn't know if using epoxy could be used or not. Whats the norm with building them?
