2 pole motors hate high timing, I would run no higher than the second setting other wise it will just generate heat.

          poles

          Hello

Motors only have pair poles....2,4,6,8..and so on....
It has 3 wires beacuse it´s a 3 phase motor......Imagine a circunference that is divided in 3 equal parts....That´s your "motor"....a circunference have 360 degrees...
Dividing by 3 parts you have 360/3=120º.
Your motor phases are desphased 120º from each one....

          Now poles,is diferent..

          (Inrunners)

2poles motors have a rotor with 2 magnets one north polarized and the other south polarized

4 pole motors have a rotor with with 4 magnets two north polarized and other two south polarized

6 pole motor have a rotor with 3 magnets northe polarized and other 3 south polarized.

          And so on....

          Didi you get the point?

Just did a run with the timing on lower setting motor dosent like then 15 or higher lower than 15 the motor and batterys get hot 15 and higher it sated cooler and ran better ,but I can't really tell the diffence between the 15,18.75 and 22.50 they seem the same ?

If its the stock fsd motor its 2 pole.

If you ever want to find out yourself take the endball off, pull the rotor out and count the poles.

brushless motors have 3 wires, has nothing to do with number of poles
