    Bullet Hyperformance flex drive question

    Hi all
Newbie looking for some help, have just bought the bullet Hyperformance outboard system to fit hopefully to converted aquacraft TS3,
What I need to know is does the motor drive dog push down (compress) the flex drive shaft a small amount or should there be a small amount of free movement in the flexy shaft is there a correct way to set these things up.
Also what lubrication do you guys use in the small oil/grease hole at the top of the assembly.
    Thanks for any help

If you run the cable under compression you will break it. Leave a little play between the motor and lower coupler. Approx 1/16"-1/8". Do a search on cables and outdrives...there are alot of good suggestions on this site. I prefer to use regular mercury cable grease.
