    Hydro & Marine?

Have been wanting to buy either a Miss Circus Circus or Maritmo hull for a while now....With all the F.D. commotion lately, I contacted H&M via email to see if there are any distributors here in the US other than FD and no response...Emailed F.D. to see if he first had either hulls in stock, and if I sent money, would prompt shipment follow...and no response.......maybe next, I'll try one of our German friends here in the forums that could be the liason from me to H&M.....what up?... A fine boat building company with only one tie to the US, and they are non-responsive, not to mention the bad rep that made me nervous anyways? Gotta wonder if H&M even knows whats going on over here and how much business they're losing....

Norm factor in the cost to ship the hulls here, the exchange rate and a damaged one from time to time and selling them is a wash. There is no profit in it to make it worth while.

I've heard that the H&M company closes for the summer. That may be the delay in their response.

I have 3 H&M hulls and all purchased through FD....not a great buying experience. Yes shipping costs are high from Europe but honestly you guys in the USA have no idea of shipping costs, duties and brokerage fees into most other countries. If you want a specific hull...pay the piper...Steven, you have proven you can sell European boats and yes they are expensive, it needs an exclusive arrangement to be profitable though
Norm, how is my, now your UL-1 performing?

Shipping has risen drastically over the last few years.

Its about $50-$70 to ship individual hulls. If 4 are bought at a time from Europe to the USA its about $30 to $50 or so each. Thats for the 30" hulls.

I know that shipping can get expensive, but when I want a specific hull, the piper would be paid....Gerwin, maybe we can work something out, translation at the least........Dougie, Your boat was a hit around here stock...Green Bay Packers theme rustled a few feathers here in Patriots country though....She's now on the bench getting what I had planned for her in the first place.....I've modified the tub to fit 2- 3S 5000 packs for 6S, a CC240HV, rudder with dual water pickups, carbon fiber bottom and a Nue 1521 or 1527.....I didn't want to post prematurely, because I knew I'd get some negative comments about the radical build until she was built and proven first, but I'll take the abuse now!
