    Esc for Leopard hobby 56x92??

I want to run the new leopard hobby 5692 1340kv motor on 6s. I'm looking for some suggestions on an esc that will power this combo. Will anything less than a 240 work?? Motor specs say 110 max amps??

Yup Leopard spec sheet says 110 max. I would roll with a swordfish / Aquastar 240 or a Monster 2000. They should get the job done. Of course with that monster you will need to water-proof, water-cool and use a pistix. JMO.

Are you using this motor in that df41 copy u just picked up

You know I bet a good old T-180 will get the job done. It's got a 360 amp burst. If that motor max's at 110 it shouldnt run that much constant. I'd try a T-180, just make sure you disconnect the bec and run a rx pack.

I was hoping to use the 180. It would save me some cash!

I think you could get away with it. I've pulled some hard and heavy amps through them and no problems. JMO, but I would try it.

I was considering this motor for a DF 41" copy... Curious how it performs and what it takes to spin it up.

Same here, just in the middle of mounting it... how are you guys cooling it?
I can only think of aluminum tube wrapped around it while OSE comes up with water jacket.

What kind of motor mount did you find?

Take a piece of strong aluminum angle bracket and cut whatever fits the boat.
Should have the boat ready by next weekend.

So you use a wooden wedge under the aluminum to get the shaft angle?
